This coming Thursday, May 7, and Sunday, May 10, I will be preaching for Mother’s Day weekend at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 799 St. Paul Avenue, in Slinger, Wisconsin. The times of the services are: May 7 at 6:30pm; May 10 at 7:45 and 10:30am. In the sermon I will examine 1 Timothy 5:4 & 8 under the theme, “Family Matters.â€Â In addition, I will be presenting Bible Class between services. I will cover the second of my 2-part Bible study on the Kingdom of God. Our congregation’s CLR Branch will also kick off the annual “Change for Life†program. This event helps CLR’s home-for-mothers ministry of New Beginnings.
